Wellington is full shows, events and festivals. While this determines the market for evening events in Wellington it is important that we research what other evening events are happening in Wellington so that we can create an experience unique to Te Papa that Milenialls are going to come back to time and time again.

open until 8pm every Wednesday in Feburary.
This includes live music, animal talks, close encounter, cafe to eat at.
Wellington Museum
normally open between 10am and 5pm the Wellington Museum has started to embrace night time events. Just in the next month they have a number of different events coming up.
- Poetry slam, competition between poets, Koha entry.
- Fright at the Museum, and event partners with Comic Con NZ, the museums attic will be open at midnight for a group horror experience.
- Wellington Museum has also opened a new space called FLUX which is located on the ground floor of Wellington Museum. Aimed at 18-30 year olds, the space will be used to explore different ideas and perspectives through exhibitions, public programmes, workshops and experiences.The word flux is about continuous change and the flow of things or people in and out of a space – and that’s exactly what this new space will bring – opening the space up for the community to share their stories through art, photography, performance, virtual reality, multimedia and much more.
