Tuatara Open Late - City Art Gallery
India and I went down to the Tuatara Open late night at the City Gallery on Thursday.
We both have an interest in Art so for us it was enjoyable because it got us to the gallery and we enjoyed looking at the new Colin Mccahon exhibition. How ever I brought some friends along who weren't so in to art and they found it quite boring, from their point of view their point of view a bunch of people standing around drinking wine and looking at abstract art wasn't their idea of fun, nor was it inclusive for those who maybe are coming to learn about art.
With this in mind we want to make sure our events at Te Papa are inclusive of all levels of knowledge and for those who aren't used to being in a museum space.
