Prototyping round 2.

After prototyping our Quiz night in class we got some very helpful feedback around what wasn't working.  For our second round of prototyping we made some changes to the way Te papa at night will run and we got some more positive feedback.

We want to create Te Papa at night as a fun and casual night, where you can jump into a scavenger hunt like search of the museum if you like, but still have the option of hanging out with live music, and grab a drink and some food.

We realised we were focussing too much on our idea of the scavenger hunt and not enough on our big idea of 'Te Papa at night.' We've worked on our wording and made it clearer that our scavenger hunt is just an example of a potential Te Papa at night event. If Te Papa hate our example of a 'spotlight scavenge' then they can still use the idea of Te Papa at night but follow through with it in a different form.

We were told the 'gimicky' questions like 'how many stairs are there in from the bottom to top floor' were unecessary' so we will take these out and replace them with more learning questions. We were also given the idea of adding a leader board as this would be intensive to keep coming back to Te Papa at night. Another way to make this idea sustainable is that the questions would be themed around a current exhibition or current event like Anzac day or Gallipoli as this would encourage people to look through the exhibitions. If a new exhibition comes out this would be a great way to introduce people to it.
