Brainstorm

  • Pick a person from history to be on your team (virtual or actor) they will have specialised knowledge, may or may not be helpful.
  • Pick an expert or Te papa staff member to be on your team to create personalised interactions with staff, break down the barrier between them.
  • Participatory - submit questions, nominate your experise on app to team you up with people you don't know.
  • Special topic each time, discussion forum.
  • #TePapa_nights
  • Night at the museum
  • dressing up historical figures on app, put them in a photo with you. "just at Te Papa Nights with Kate Sheppard"
  • One section could be questions about Te Papa exhibits (what did the invisible hand throw in the earthquake house)
  • NZ kiwiana section (whats a classic kiwi drink)
  • NZ history questions
  • Where is this? section eg. where is the massive carrot located
  • quizes can be each week and people could keep coming back, which means they will be learning things all the time. They will want to research history and facts etc in order for them to know more answers and therefore win!
  • people should win actual descent prize
  • Millenials love nostalgia, so funny questions about Te Papa exhibits and maybe about childhood things would be good.
