Auckland Escape Rooms
Mk Hayley talked about how people enjoy experiences where they have to reach a goal or have to achieve something, as it gives them a challenge and makes things more interesting, relating to our idea of a quiz night. She mentioned escape rooms as being one of those experiences people enjoy, especially millennials.
In auckland there's a selection of escape room people love because they are tricky but fun. Each of them have a kiwi twist which makes the whole experience feel more personal, which is another important element of creating a great experience. As a group you have to solve a mystery and find your way out of the room in a certain amount of time by working through a series of puzzles.
people can go onto the escapadenz website, ://escapadenz.co.nz/games/ and from there they can select from 4 different escape rooms, or games as they say, each with their own kiwi history involved. They can book online, select the day and amount of people they want to play, which game they want and then pay.
The pricing isnt too expensive and there is student pricing which will attract millenials. It's $23 per student or child for 5-6 people and gets slightly more expensive the less people you have. The experience is also unique and different, so spending the money would be worth it as it's not something you do very often.
They also have a licensed lounge bar, which people like to go to for a refreshment and wind down after they complete the escape room.
